ov
ov on DELTA inverters: DC bus over-voltage
DELTA inverters: VFD-EL
Disconnect the supply and wait for the capacitors to discharge before opening the inverter or touching its terminals.
Common causes
- Deceleration too fast, the motor regenerates into the drive
- High-inertia or overhauling load (large fan, lowering hoist)
- Supply voltage above the allowed range
Try first
- Increase the deceleration time (Pr.01-10)
- Enable over-voltage stall prevention if available
- Measure the supply: 1-phase 230 V on 21A models
- If it repeats on heavy loads, add a suitable braking resisto
