oL2 on DELTA inverters: Motor over-torque

DELTA inverters: VFD-EL

Disconnect the supply and wait for the capacitors to discharge before opening the inverter or touching its terminals.

Common causes

  1. Load jammed or suddenly increased
  2. Over-torque detection level set too low

Try first

  1. Check the machine: tight belt, seized bearing, stuck material
  2. Review the over-torque detection parameters (Pr.06-03, Pr.06-04)
