oL1 on DELTA inverters: Motor overload (electronic thermal)

DELTA inverters: VFD-EL

Disconnect the supply and wait for the capacitors to discharge before opening the inverter or touching its terminals.

Common causes

  1. Motor current above the setting
  2. Wrong motor rated current in the parameters
  3. Long low-speed running of a self-cooled motor

Try first

  1. Set the motor rated current from the nameplate (Pr.07-00)
  2. Check the mechanical load and bearings
  3. Avoid long low-speed running without extra cooling
