ocd on DELTA inverters: Over-current during deceleration

DELTA inverters: MS300

Disconnect the supply and wait for the capacitors to discharge before opening the inverter or touching its terminals.

Common causes

  1. Deceleration time too short
  2. High-inertia load
  3. Short at the output

Try first

  1. Increase the deceleration time (Pr.01-13)
  2. Check the cable and motor insulation
  3. Consider a braking resistor for heavy loads
