ocA on DELTA inverters: Over-current during acceleration

Disconnect the supply and wait for the capacitors to discharge before opening the inverter or touching its terminals.

Common causes

1. 1Acceleration time too short
2. 2Short in the motor cable or winding
3. 3Torque boost set too high
4. 4Drive too small for the load

Try first

1. 1Increase the acceleration time (Pr.01-12)
2. 2Test the drive without the motor, then megger the cable and motor
3. 3Lower the torque boost
4. 4For heavy-start loads choose a larger drive
