Disconnect the supply and wait for the capacitors to discharge before opening the inverter or touching its terminals.
Common causes
- Mains voltage drop or momentary loss
- Thin supply wires or loose terminals
- A large load starting on the same line
Try first
- Measure the input voltage while running
- Tighten the supply terminals
- Separate large loads from the drive line or use thicker wire
