GFF on DELTA inverters: Ground fault

DELTA inverters: VFD-EL، MS300

Disconnect the supply and wait for the capacitors to discharge before opening the inverter or touching its terminals.

Common causes

1. 1Damaged insulation in the motor cable or winding
2. 2Moisture in the motor terminal box
3. 3Very long motor cable
4. 4Internal drive damage

Try first

1. 1Disconnect the motor and megger each phase to ground
2. 2Dry the motor terminal box
3. 3If the fault stays with no motor connected, the drive needs repair
