CE10 on DELTA inverters: RS-485 communication time-out

DELTA inverters: VFD-EL، MS300

Disconnect the supply and wait for the capacitors to discharge before opening the inverter or touching its terminals.

Common causes

1. 1No message from the PLC or HMI within the set time
2. 2Broken or reversed communication wire
3. 3Baud rate or address mismatch

Try first

1. 1Check the RS-485 wire, +/- and ground
2. 2Match baud rate, address and format with the PLC (group 09)
3. 3Review the time-out setting (Pr.09-03)
